shadows

since my last blog i have been doing more research into photography and stop motion. i have looked at various photographers and looked at their work in a way of how i would create movement with in this image to create a different effect and emotion.

though one of my time-lapses testers i noticed it captured a shadow moving slowly across the ground.i found this really interesting and effective as it feels calming.. kind of a un-living movement creating silence over the image. i think i might look in to shadows more in a urban.country landscape and the motion of them over the day, capturing this in a stop-motion method.

things to think about...

How do you give a shadow a sound?

the sound of movement?

does silence have a sound but humans can't hear it ?

thinking of a shadow as a thing that mimics the living?

doctor who reference don't stand in the shadows. petter pan - losing his shadow.

different directions different times of the day . ??
